Marketing Plan

In order to market the magazine, three major steps will be taken.

First a social media account, or several, will be created for the magazine on either or all of these social medias: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and/or Pinterest. This will work to promote our product on the internet and generate a good P.R. with a younger crowd as more than 98% of 18 to 29 year-old individuals in the U.S. use the internet and among those aged 30 to 49, 97% use the internet. A website will also be made to keep users updated on the magazine, as well as a subsequent mailing list for our subscribers for the same purpose.

I actually made a fake Twitter account in order to give an example of the social media, took a screen shot of it as soon as it was finished, then immediately deactivated the account.

As shown here:

Secondly, print ads will be made and mailed to any and all addresses as a sort of "media blast", akin to when you receive an unsolicited add in the mail that's promoting a car dealership that you've never visited, but it's addressed to you. These will also have links to all the social media accounts currently running, working in tandem to promote the first step and possibly reel in readership that does not often use the internet.

Third, and finally, multiple internet ads will be dispersed onto relevant websites, such as those for an artistic institution in the area; Florida Studio Theater and the Ringling Museum of Art as some examples. These will link directly to the website mentioned in step one, working in tandem again with the other steps to make one large cycle of promotion.
