QUESTION 3: How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
While I was no stranger to editing when starting this project, though I can definitely say I've come a lot further in skill than I had previously. I've learned a great deal of how Microsoft Publisher works and how to properly incorporate pictures and text into a layout. Techniques like cropping, adjusting for aspect ratio, overlaying, and color correcting are all techniques I had to learn when creating my magazine extract.
One area I definitely improved in was photography. I learned how to carefully take lighting, exposure, and framing into every shot. There is a noticeable difference in the photos of other concerts as opposed to the photos I took in Marina Jack.
